The Loews Madison Hotel’s “National Geographic Museum Terra Cotta Warriors” Package Offers Guests an Inside Look at an Ancient Culture

Visitors to the nation’s cap­i­tal who stay at the Loews Madison Hotel, the offi­cial hotel part­ner for the National Geographic Museum, will be only two blocks from com­ing face-to-face with 15 terra cotta war­riors as well as other trea­sures from the tomb of China’s first emperor includ­ing 100 sets of objects, stone armor, weapons, coins, bronze ves­sels, and more.

Tickets are avail­able for “Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China’s First Emperor,” a trav­el­ing exhi­bi­tion fea­tur­ing the largest num­ber of terra cotta fig­ures ever to travel to the United States, on view at the National Geographic Museum from Nov. 19, 2009, through March 31, 2010. The museum will be the final venue of the exhibition’s four-city U.S. tour.
