Finding Fun Faster: Travel Wisconsin iPhone App Launched

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism has unveiled its new Travel Wisconsin mobile appli­ca­tion for the iPhone. The free app makes find­ing local attrac­tions, lodg­ing, din­ing and recre­ation through­out the state a piece of cake. The app can be down­loaded from Apple’s iTunes Store and will work on any Apple mobile device run­ning iOS 3.1.3 or greater.

Win great Wisconsin travel prizes with ‘Miles of Fun’ Giveaway

This sum­mer, expe­ri­ence the excite­ment of Wisconsin first­hand by enter­ing the “Miles of Fun” Giveaway. The give­away launched June 15, 2010, with help from Wisconsin’s own Dr. Miles Feldspar, archae­ol­o­gist and sea­soned trav­eler. Tall Ships Challenge Coming to the Great Lakes in 2010

The are lots of rea­sons to visit the Great Lakes any time of the year, from island camp­ing and div­ing ship wrecks to vis­it­ing his­toric light houses. This com­ing sum­mer, there will be one more rea­son: the Great Lakes will host the Tall Ships Challenge race series in 2010. The ships will race through all five Great Lakes, mak­ing port appear­ances in cities through­out the region.

AirTran Airways Offers Double Rewards Credits for Milwaukee Travel
