2010 Michigan Travel Ideas Magazine Now Available



The 2010 Michigan Travel Ideas magazine is now available free of charge from Travel Michigan, the state’s tourism promotion office. The 120-page, full-color travel guide is a four-season resource for exploring the Great Lakes State.

“Michigan Travel Ideas is packed with useful information and tips, articles and spectacular photography, plus recreation guides and additional sources for planning a vacation,” said George Zimmermann, Vice President of Travel Michigan, a division of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. “Whether it’s a weekend getaway in one of our great cities or a weeklong adventure in the great outdoors, Michigan Travel Ideas is a great resource.”

2010 Issue Highlights

Turn to this issue’s feature article Secrets of the Shore for the inside scoop on 25 little-known Great Lakes Getaways You Don’t Know About. Along the same lines, Wild Discoveries explores the appeal of parks, wilderness and natural areas that have plenty to offer but are lesser-known than some of the more prominent national and state parks across the state.
