Free in Chicago: ZooLights at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo
Free event features more than a million lights

Lincoln Park ZooLights - Giraffes
If you find yourself in Chicago during the holiday season this year, do yourself a favor and visit the free Lincoln Park Zoo, which transforms into a dazzling wonderland every holiday with its seasonal festival ZooLights.
Bring your kids and step into a dazzling winter wonderland illuminated by approximately 1.5 million lights. While you're there, you can sip hot cocoa or spiced wine while watching “arctic artists” carve ice into wildlife. Escape Jack Frost with an exotic trip past crocodiles, pygmy hippos and meerkats at Regenstein African Journey. Animal exhibits stay open late. Don’t miss the extraordinary musical light show on the South Lawn. Take in the lights, music and, of course, photos with Santa. Prepare holiday crafts and enjoy the zoo in a holiday atmosphere unlike any other.
Weekends: Nov. 27 – 29; Dec. 4 – 6; Dec. 11 – 13
