Temperature deter­mines room rates; week­end pack­ages avail­able now through March 31

The colder it is out­side, the hot­ter the deals will be inside at the the Wyndham Cleveland! Last week, the Wyndham Cleveland and PlayhouseSquare announced a unique, two-night week­end pack­age called “Snow News is Good News,” January through March 2010. The Saturday rate will be as low as the out­side tem­per­a­ture (as deter­mined by noon at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport). Friday night’s rate is $109.

The nor­mal aver­age monthly tem­per­a­tures in Cleveland, accord­ing to AccuWeather.com, are 25 F in January, 28 F in February and 37 F in March.

The Wyndham, located at 1260 Euclid Ave., is a full-service, 205-room, newly-renovated boutique-style hotel with fine din­ing at Encore! and Blue Bar and just a few steps from the PlayhouseSquare the­aters. The week­end pack­age allows vis­i­tors to see a show and be thank­ful for the low tem­per­a­ture! PlayhouseSquare will be host to three shows hot off Broadway dur­ing this pro­mo­tional period: “Chicago,” Jan. 12–24; “In The Heights,” Feb. 9–21; and “Xanadu,” March 2–14.
