Edward Shanahan, a Paranormal Spirit Observer, Medium and Psychic Reader, in cooperation with the Historic Scutt Mansion's Board of Directors and the Orland Park Historical Society, invites you to share his paranormal spirit experience and knowledge at two unique haunted Chicagoland locations! Visit the Scutt Mansion in Joliet and the Senator Humphrey House in Orland Park with Shanahan when he brings a small group of 'living' individuals along to experience and explore these locations at night. Be part of an entertaining paranormal experience as Shanahan attempts to 'Cross the Veil' between the living and the dead during the recreation of a Victorian Seance!
The Scutt Mansion, Joliet Illinois
Since it was built in the 1800s, two past owners have died at the Scutt mansion and at least two documented murders have been committed inside. Two children in the building next door were found dead after a fire and one may be the little girl that at times makes it known that she is there.
Spirits are tied to the rooms full of victorian antiques, from the furnished basement to the very top floor. Dolls dating back to the 1800s will be looking at you as you enter the Doll Room! In the Pipe Organ Dance Room, orbs can be seen in total darkness without flash or lighting! You'll never forget what you feel from room to room, floor to floor, and you never know what you may see and hear wandering the halls...

Senator Humphry House, Orland Park, Illinois
The Senator Humphrey House was home to Mr. Humphrey, his many children and two wives. The house was also the setting for the deaths of some. Family members' wakes were often held in the living room of the family home.
From the upstairs children's playroom to the living room and at times the basement, spirits have been felt and strange things caught on camera in the Humphreys House, including what many feel at times is Mr. Humphrey himself. The Humphrey Family also has a very strong tie to the famous haunted Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. Even some of the Historians wonder out loud if the first Mrs. Humphrey may be the Madonna of Bachelor's Grove Cemetery.
